Restaurant Lotus D'or Enr

Great food!! This place was packed! The General Tao's Chicken is a must try here! Mmmmm....

Apparently it was better in the past... before the administration changed.
We went on Saturday night and although the place was full, the food was far from justifying it. I live in Montreal, so I have had some bad, decent and good Vietnamese & Thai food, but this place does not even compare with Thai Express.
My seafood red curry & coconut dish had absolutely no curry in it. The sauce was non-descript and although it was eatable and the amount of seafood was nice, it was nothing close to Thai food.
My BF's pad thai had a soya based sauce! I think that says it all.
The only good points were the Wanton Soup (tasty broth) and the fact that is is a BYOW.
